Can We Talk?....
Two days ago R called to say she was coming over for lunch today.
1. I bought all the groceries for our lunch yesterday
2. I vacuumed the carpets
3. I washed the floors
4. I cleaned the house
6. I swept in front of the house
7. I waited
8. I waited
9. 11:30AM.. R called, I expected her to tell me what time she'd be here, instead she said "I'm to tired. I'm not coming. I need to rest so I can go to the fair tonight"
She has done this to me many times...why am I so stupid to fall into the same trap time after time...why in hell do I believe her? It made me angry! It made me feel like I'm a meaningless person that people can just kick around anytime they like, that my life, my time....means nothing.
