Geez....
A man from the electric company loudly knocked on my front door early this morning, said he needed to enter my backyard and climb the pole...whatever floats your boat...anyhow they (he brought 2 friends) worked on the wires for about an hour, causing 2 power outages during their pole climb. After everyone left I noticed my VCR was blinking, my microwave clock and my printer. The microwave and printer were fairly easy to solve, but the VCR took me 4 hours. I read the instruction manuel from cover to cover and it told me nothing, I went to the internet and found nothing to help my problem. One smart a$$ said on his website, if the blinking VCR bothers you place black electrical tape over the light. I wasn't in the mood for humor. Anyhow, I just now stopped and here is the way I did it, I reset the VCR clock using the VCR remote, it will not stop the blinking if you set the clock using the TV remote. A lesson learned and shared.
D emailed and I am grateful that I heard from him. M is going to Dubai soon, I checked some websites and an interesting one is www.datadubai.com Lots of info.
I am looking forward to seeing the Opening of Olympics, living here we get it tape delayed, that I do not like. The TV execs always want to know why the viewership is down, it is the tape delay, everyone wants to see live coverage...duh.
