A Few words About....
I watched the Olympic's Opening Ceremony last night...and enjoyed it all. My favorite was the dove made by the people hanging from ropes and the downhill racer made by people standing on the floor. Seeing Yoko Ono was cool and hearing John Lennon's Imagine....one of my favorite all time songs was even cooler. I have one question, why was American disco music played during the introduction of countries? That was odd, I would have rather heard Italian music....but, what do I know. I will watch some of the games...not being a tried and true sports fan I can't get interested in all of the events. I can say I wish I was in Italy, beautiful scenery, fantastic food, handsome men....ahhh....
I was overdrawn on my checking account and had to pay $30 for a bounced check....ouch, that hurt!!! I have no idea when and where my math went wrong...a lesson learned, that's for sure. First time I ever did that and will keep my fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.
Watched a good TV show on PBS about Jesse James...I guess he was not America's "Robin Hood" stealing from the rich and giving it to the poor...he gave it to himself. Yet, he is still known over 100 years later, and people still call his cousin that shot him in the back a "dirty little coward" the cousin killed him for the reward money...again money is the root of all evil.
