Boring Stuff...
Today R and I toured nursing homes to place her father in ...not fun. Guess I will probably end up in one IF I live that long. A sobering thought...pass me another shot of whiskey please. Talked to a few really sweet little old ladies in the home, they had faces and smiles like angels. I wonder how and why they ended up in a place like that. Anyhow, after the nursing home trek we ate burgers at a take out place and headed home.
I am trying to knit scarves and have forgotten how to bind off and how to make fringe. Use it or lose it also applies to knitting. lol
My internet connection is very s-l-o-w today and for a time I couldn't even get a connection, don't know whats wrong with it....don't know what's wrong with everything.
Heard from D again, it is always such a relief to find out D is alright. I just tend to worry when I don't hear from D and always imagine the worst possible things happening to D.
Weather has been delightful but rain is coming this weekend...oh, I mean a rain "event"...lol
Guess that's about all my boring news for now....take care ya'll.
