Trees..Snow & Stars...

"If the only prayer you say in your life is thank you, that would suffice"
(Meister Echart)
I can't find my Befana doll...boo hoo hoo. I wanted to put her by the tree for Christmas.
I did a little gift shopping today, bought gas, and went to the grocery store where a nice man helped me get my shopping cart untangled. It was cold this morning 32 degrees by all news accounts. The coldest day recorded in this area was 18 degrees in January 1932. We seldom get snow, maybe once every 10 years if we're lucky we'll get a slight dusting of the white stuff, and that dusting is about due. So I hope we snow this winter. Christmas trees at the grocery store were marked at $19.99 regardless of size, most were around 6 feet tall and the wood stand was included in the price. Not bad, in tree lots they'd sell for $40 plus $3 for the stand. But the lots carry a better quality tree, like the Silver Tip (pictured above) which is my favorite. I had a dream last night about a monkey...lol...wonder what that is suppose to mean? Mostly re-runs on the telly tonight, tv people must think everyone is shopping at the malls this time of year, but it "ain't so" If you look up at the sky tonight you can see Venus very clearly and bright, it looks so beautiful by the quarter moon. Our sky tonight is brilliant with stars....love it!
