Today we celebrated an early Christmas at Uncle L's house. It was very nice, he sang Xmas carols to us in Italian, we opened gifts and had a great dinner. Before leaving the lights inside the house went out due to a blown fuse and trying to open the fuse box and figure out what to do was difficult. Luckily the next door neighbor came home and solved the problem. It rained cats and dogs. On the side of a busy roadway we saw a poor guy selling roses in the down pour. He didn't have an umbrella or shelter. R and I felt very sad for him, but we had nothing in the car to help him. I hope whoever his boss is, that he'd came and pick the guy up soon. We also passed a bar called Ninos I've never been inside, but it is always crowded, I bet a good time is had by all. Maybe that will be my New Year's resolution to have a Corona at Ninos. lol My street is partially flooded at the intersections, water is up to the curbs. It always gets this way when it rains a lot, the City people have worked on these intersections for years, but whatever they do, it hasn't dispensed of the flooding problem. I called C again today and C actually talked to me and was nice for a change. Maybe C has a bit of the Xmas spirit ... hope it lasts. Did not see that chihuahua anytime today..oh well, I think that's for the better. Have you seen that commercial, I think it is for a vacuum and it sweeps the spots off a Dalmation? Funny stuff. And the one I believe for Pet City that has a chichahua sitting on top of a vacuum cleaner for a thrill ride? Oh dear, there that "C" word again Chihuahua!!!!!
