Aahh fog season...I woke up to Tule fog this morning!
Here in the San Joaquin Valley tule (pronounced two-lee) fog is around from late Fall through Winter, it is a thick ground fog that forms at night and lasts until noon even longer at times. Visibility is usually from 10 to 600 feet at the most, but many times visibility is zero. This photo shows that you can't see a half block away, sometimes it gets even worst, you can't see the house across the street! It looks like houses, trees, buildings are gobbled up.. and gone forever! The fog will hang around for days.. even weeks.
The Season and the Fog makes me feel gloomy, anxious, burned out. Depression enters my soul and I feel doomed. Maybe a cup of hot chocolate will lift my spirits?
