First Day Ramblings
January 28, 2005
You get nothing for nothing....but its free. Therefore this blog will hold my free opinions and probab;y will mean nothing. :-)
There has been so much tragedy this month of January 2005, the earthquake and tidal wave, LaConchinta mudslide, train derailment in Glendale, soldiers and citizens dying in Iraq.... All tragic events, but what haunts me the most is the face of Jimmie Wallet, the man who lost most of his family in a split second in the mudslide. My heart and prayers went out to that man and his surviving daughter Jasmine. He seemed like such a peaceful guy, loving his family and music etc. Why did such awfulness happen to him? It is not right, fair or just for one man to endure such sorrow. I read at the memorial ceremony he wasin a "daze" I hope someday in someway he can again find peace. When I worry about myself, I think how fragile life is and none of us knows what will happen tomorrow or a minute from now.
