November is Ending...

R wanted purple Christmas tree ornaments....so we went on a search for them today. But they were either too purple or not purple enough so came home empty handed.
Very cold here last night the temps dipped to 28 degrees. It was cold enough to have the water freeze inside the hose. This is not typical weather for us.
I've been raking leaves everyday...the job is about half done. Can't believe tomorrow is December 1st. I already received 3 greeting cards in the mail. Hate early birds...don't really mean I hate them, but these people seem to always be rushing things.
I want to have some hot chocolate and curl up with a good book....

Baby It's Cold Outside....

Brrrrr it was 30 degrees here this morning, frost was all over. 46 years ago today ADG dumped the now imfamous garbage over the cliff in the Bershires. Three cheers for trash and Officer Obie. It is starting to look a lot like Christmas, many houses on the street have outdoor Christmas lights. The night is bright and colorful and I like it. Yesterday morning there was a hit and run accident outside my window. Some one crashed into a parked car and took off.
Hope they find whoever did it. I am trying to find a value for a Elvis autograph...and I guess find out if what I do have is genuine. Don't know where to even start with that project. Any ideas?
Not much happening....so I'll sign off...take care.

In Fond Memory....

"A man's days are like those of grass; like a flower of the field he blooms, the wind sweeps over him and he is gone, and his place knows him no more"
(Ps 103:13-16)
I hope you have as many friends in heaven as you had on earth.
I hope "Dead Eye Dick" is at your side and that the hometown team scores the big win, and that your days are forever bright. Dad, I love and miss you!!!

Nothing Much...

I'm still here just not feeling up to par. Had to have a new window installed because someone
threw a rock through the old one. Who? When? Why? I haven't a clue. Keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't happen again.
Weather here has been rather soggy. Leaves are now falling fast and furious. I haven't been able to rake many. I hope a big wind comes and blows them all across the street so I don't have to deal with them.....but that never happens. Their leaves blow in my direction. I don't think that's fair. lol Not much is newsworthy here so this will be a brief entry. Til next time.....

Short and Sweet...

Leaves are starting to fall here. The leaves in front of the house are small and a hassle to rake.
I found a cute new website www.oceangram.com you can send and recieve messages in a bottle.
Turn the sound up and pretend you are at the beach.
Today is a red letter day, the 49'ers won!! lol
